
Continuing Education
YES, the “Offer to Purchase and Contract, Form 2-T” is being substantially revised effective January 1, 2011!! If you are a Realtor, you are required by NCAR to begin using the revised form for offers and counteroffers made on or after that date. The current version, which was last revised in 2008, is to be used through the end of December. Even if you are not a Realtor, you should become familiar with the new version sooner instead of later.

After your first license renewal, you must take 8 hours of CE each license year by June 10th in order for your license to be able to remain “active” the following license year. Click here for more information regarding Continuing Education.
You don’t have to choose between reliable information and a fun class. You can have both at Cumbie & Trull! Most of our Continuing Education classes(unless otherwise indicated)are taught by attorney and veteren real estate instructor, Bill Trull, who you can count on to provide useful, informative and interesting instruction.
Mandatory Update
The 2010/2011 Update Course is required of all Brokers. The primary topics in the Update course are: Revised Offer to Purchase and Contract, the New Good Faith Estimate and Licensing and Education issues.
Elective A: The Contract Maze
This course is designed to navigate the intricate details and elusive question of “When does an offer become a contract?” The revised Offer to Purchase and Contract and Addenda will be discussed as well.
Broker-in-Charge Annual Review (BICAR)*
Required course, along with the Mandatory Update, for all Brokers-In-Charge who want to remain BICs or BIC Eligible. The 2010/2011 BICAR course topics include: The Role of the Real Estate Commission, Trust Account Management, Disciplinary Procedures and Cases, and Broker-in-Charge Requirements.
* If you are not currently serving as a Broker-in-Charge or are not BIC eligible, you will not receive credit for this course.You can check your personal information to see if you are BIC eligible at the NCREC website: http://www.ncrec.gov
