Weather Policy

We strive to not cancel classes for any reason as rescheduling is challenging for everyone. However, we expect you to use your own judgment when roads may be affected by weather.

In the event of poor weather, we will make a decision regarding classes and, if we decide to cancel classes, we will post any class cancellations on the Home Page of our website by 7:00 am for daytime classes and by 4:00pm for evening classes. No change in the website means that classes will be held as scheduled.

If we do cancel a class, the make-up day for that class will be held on the next regular class date and 1 class session will be added to the end of the course. If you are unable to attend the final added class session, we will work with you to get the material you may miss and arrange a testing date, if applicable. Please note that the inability to attend any class whether make-up or otherwise will be counted as time missed (you may miss up to 15 hours in a Prelicensing Course and 6 hours in a Postlicensing Course). We recommend that you make arrangements to have someone take notes for you in the event of any absence.

Due to the many opportunities we offer to take Continuing Education classes, we will not be adding classes due to weather related cancellations. We are happy to reschedule your class or refund any pre-payment.
