POSTLICENSING

A provisional broker must complete the 90-hour postlicensing education program within 18 months of initial licensure to maintain active license status. After completing all three courses, the provisional status is removed from the license.

About Postlicensing

Postlicensing courses have a 90% attendance requirement.

A provisional broker who fails to complete a 30-hour postlicensing course as required will have their license placed on inactive status.

For online classes through Zoom you will need:  broadband internet access, a working webcam/microphone, ability to see full screen and access keyboard at the same time. Login from a phone is prohibited.

The NC Real Estate Manual is the required textbook for all three postlicensing courses.  The Manual may be purchased with your class order and picked up at our office before class or a physical or digital copy may be purchased directly from the NC Real Estate Commission.

NC Law, Rules, and Legal Concepts

The Post 303 - NC Law, Rules, and Legal Concepts course is one of the three 30-instructional hour courses in the North Carolina mandatory Postlicensing education program. Topics addressed in this course include general North Carolina licensing requirements, brokerage compensation issues, the disciplinary process, specialized types of real estate, property management in NC, and miscellaneous NC laws and legal concepts.
